Sponsorship Information

Our 2007 Sponsors

The goal of the Draper Days Committee is to provide opportunities for individuals and businesses to support this annual week-long celebration.

Enclosed you will find information about the various Draper Days events and our standard sponsorship programs. However, please remember that we are flexible and willing to work with you to make your contribution as valuable to you or your business as it is to us.

What Kind of Donation is Accepted?
In order to manage Draper Days our committee has the need of a variety of materials, manpower and, of course, funding. We accept both monetary and in-kind (material and manpower) donations.

You may make any monetary donation to the Draper Community Foundation, our parent organization. Those donations can be sent directly to: Draper Community Foundation, 1020 East Pioneer Road, Draper, Utah 84020.

For more information, please contact Nick Ramond at 523-8745 or nick@ramond.net

General Sponsorships
Most Draper Days sponsorships are general sponsorships, meaning that they are sponsoring the entire week-long festival. The Draper Days Committee is free to direct these donations to the various events or venues as they see fit. Our standard sponsor recognition programs are designed for these “general” sponsors.

Event Sponsorships
Sponsors also have the option to sponsor a specific event and to have their donation directed specifically to that event. We provide opportunities for exclusive sponsorships for some events and it possible in some cases to sponsor specific parts of an event. For example, it is possible to sponsor the Rodeo or to sponsor just the Barrel Racing event at the Rodeo. Event sponsors are entitled to the same sponsorship benefits as general sponsors, but there may also be opportunities to recognize your sponsorship in a unique manner during that event.

For more information, please contact Nick Ramond at 523-8745 or nick@ramond.net

Sponsor Recognition Program
We recognize our sponsors based on the overall value of their donation, not on the type of donation they made. As noted earlier, we are willing to tailor a recognition program for your needs, but the following is our standard sponsorship recognition program. We recognize four sponsorship levels…

Platinum ($5,000+)
Gold ($1,000 - $4,999)
Silver ($250 - $999)
Bronze ($100 - $249)
Sponsor Recognition Signs
During the week of Draper Days we will have a number of sponsor recognition signs located a number of different venues and events. These signs will list all of our sponsors according to their sponsorship level. There will also be indications of specific event sponsorships when applicable.

Draper Days Magazine
Each year we publish an 8-page full color magazine that includes event schedules and descriptions, venue maps and, of course, recognition for our sponsors. This magazine is mailed to the 11,000+ mailing addresses located in Draper. We also make them available at a variety of high-traffic locations throughout the city.

Sponsor Recognition Advertising
In the July issue of both the Draper Paper and the South Valley Journal we will publish an ad that is devoted to simply thanking the various sponsors and volunteers that make Draper Days possible. That advertisement will be a ˝ page minimum, but could be larger based on the number of sponsors that we need to thank. Sponsors will be listed according to their sponsorship level and specific event sponsorships will be noted.

Draper Days Website
All sponsors will be recognized online at both…
www.draperdays.com   and      www.drapercommunityfoundation.com

VIP Passes
A Draper Days VIP Pass provides free access to the Rodeo, as well as access to special VIP areas at some venues, including the VIP tent at Draper City Park during the Park Festival on Friday, July 18th and Saturday, July 19th.

Free Parade Entry
For Silver, Gold or Platinum sponsors we will waive the parade entry fee, but more importantly sponsors are guaranteed a spot in the parade as long as they submit their applications by the deadline. The parade is typically filled in the order we receive applications, so without this guarantee it is possible not to receive one of our limited spots even if you submit your application on time.

Recognition Plaque
A plaque will be presented to each of our sponsors from the Draper Days Committee. This handsome reminder of your contribution can be proudly displayed to let everyone know that you are a supporter of our community!
