January 18, 2006 -- Leslie Johnson Elected Vice President of the Board of Trustees
After much consideration the Board elected Leslie Johnson as Vice President of the Board of Trustees. Leslie will serve out Lori Bird's term of office.
December 14, 2005 -- Board Welcomes New Members Filling Newly Added Seats
In November the Board had agreed to add seats on the board for representatives of some of the other civic organizations in Draper. Tonight the board welcomed our new members, including Bob Day (Draper Historical Society), Carole Inglish (Sorenson Home Museum) and Katie Shell (Draper Historic Theater). Seats have also been created for representatives from the Draper Area Chamber of Commerce and the Draper Visual Arts Foundation, but those seats have not been filled to date.
November 9, 2005 -- Lisa Evenson Appointed Chair of Miss Draper Pageant Committee; Joins Board
Lisa Evenson has been appointed our new Chair of the Miss Draper Pageant Committee and has assumed the board seat reserved for a representative from that committee.
October 12, 2005 -- Connie Robbins Appointed Chair of Community Events Committee; Joins Board
Connie Robbins has been appointed our new Chair of the Community Events Committee and has assumed the board seat reserved for a representative from that committee.
September 26, 2005 -- Lori Bird Resigns
Lori Bird, the Vice President of the Board of Trustees, announced her resignation from all of her positions held within the Foundation, including Chair of Draper Days and Community Events. Lori has served this Foundation and the city for a number of years and we are very sorry to see her go.
May 25, 2005 -- Nick Ramond Elected President of the Board of Trustees
After much consideration the Board elected Nick Ramond as President of the Board of Trustees. Nick will serve out Donna Evans' term of office.
May 18, 2005 -- Donna Evans Resigns
Donna Evans, the President of the Board of Trustees, announced her resignation. Unfortunately, she will be unable to fulfill her obligations as an officer and member of the Board. Donna has been a real asset to the Foundation and we are happy to say that she has agreed to consult with us from time-to-time as needed.
April 14, 2005 -- Leslie Johnson added to Board of Trustees
Leslie Johnson, President of the Arts Council, was officially added to the Board of Trustees after being selected as the official representative from the Arts Council.
March 9, 2005 -- Nick Ramond added to Board of Trustees
Nick Ramond, Advisor to the Draper City Youth Council, was officially added to the Board of Trustees after being selected as the official representative from the Draper City Youth Council.
