City Representatives are put on the board to ensure that the city's interests are being represented. The City Council may select anyone they would like to represent the city, but these representatives are typically members of the City Council. There are two of these positions.
Committee Representatives are put on the board to ensure that the interests of the volunteers and the committees they serve on are being represented. Each committee selects its own representative. There are six of these positions (Amphitheater Committee, Arts Council, Community Events Committee, Draper Days Committee, Draper Trails Day Committee, Miss Draper Pageant Committee). Community Representatives are put on the board to ensure wider and more diverse representation from the community. There are six seats on the board for representatives from some of the other prominent civic organizations that serve Draper (Draper Chamber of Commerce, Draper City Youth Council, Draper Historical Society, Draper Historic Theater, Draper Visual Arts Foundation, and the Sorensen Home Museum). In addition, as many as four "at large" community representatives may be invited to join the board.There are four officer positions that are elected by the Board, including President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.
